Today We Circumnavigated St. John

When I rolled out of bed today, I thought we would be keeping the boat at home. The weather forecast was not favorable for a day on the water....boy, did those guys get it wrong! The weather was beautiful. There was not a cloud in the sky, the water was flat, and I got a last minute call to take a family out for the afternoon. Wet Woody's welcomed the Abromowitz family from Boston aboard for a day of cruising around St. John.
We cruised the south shore of St. John to start with stops at Tektite and Kittle Bay for snorkeling. Then we cruised on around the east end of the island with a quick spin through Coral Bay along the way. We had beautiful views of the east end of the island and could spot in the distance all of the yachts gathering in the Bite of Norman Island...the Willy T should be expecting a huge New Year's Eve party with the number of boats parked over there.
Our cruise along the north shore of St. John included a quick snorkel stop at Whistling Cay. From there we continued along the north shore cruising on out through the Cays of Lavango, Congo, Grass, Mingo, and Thatch before heading home to Cruz Bay.
All in all, I would say we had a great day on the water!
